Janeway acts like a heartless psychopath for the first half of the episode, smiling conspiratorially as she stands by her replicator complaining about her coffee, explaining to Seven that the Doctor is no more important than a coffee making machine. I just hope they were fired immediately after helping create this episode. However, whoever decided to write Janeway's script in particular. I think the episode deals with a very interesting problem and I agree with Picardo (who says it was his favourite episode) that it is a brilliant way to develop the Doctor's character.
